Jenny Kim
Jenny Kim was born in Seoul, Korea and naturally gravitated to art by attending Yeawon Art Middle & High School. After completing her major in Sculpture at Ewha Woman’s University, she immigrated to the United States and continued her career in the arts as a textile designer for 20 years. After 2002, she embarked on her personal artistic endeavors through fine art, which have since been selected and exhibited by international art competitions in Seoul, Tokyo, New York, Hawaii, New Jersey, Ohio, etc, many of which she has received awards for both domestically and internationally. She is currently a member of International H.M.A. Korea, the Korean American Contemporary Arts LTD., a member of Ehwa Woman’s University’s “Nokmee” Art Alumni Association and ‘SALUTE’ to Women in the Arts. Since 2004, she has run her own art studio, “Sarah’s Art School,” in Fort Lee, NJ. She draws her inspiration from the divinity of nature and strives to express its beauty through her control of color balance, contrast and simplification. She enjoys multiple mediums and forms, such as sculpture, oil, acrylic, watercolor and oriental painting.
