Del Ray Sketchcrawl Workshop (Register by 8/8)
Instructor: Joan Bicklehaupt Date/Time: Sunday, August 11, 1-3pm Cost: $15 Del Ray Artisans member / $25 Non-member; bring your own supplies Class size: 3-12 participants (Register by midnight on August 8) The main focus of a sketchcrawl is for everyone to meet up…go out…and sketch! We will rotate through different stops along Mount Vernon Avenue, starting from Del Ray Artisans gallery and ending at St Elmo’s Coffee Pub in Del Ray. Together, the group will decide how long they’ll sketch at each site. Bring a hat, sunscreen and whatever portable art supplies you would like to carry. We will discuss Art on the Go: materials, subjects, and approaches to quick, gestural sketches that help capture images around town
