Publication Date: December 1, 2024 (World AIDS Day). The Bureau of Queer Art invites artists to submit their work for a special edition publication in honor of World AIDS Day. This edition aims to amplify the voices and perspectives of queer artists whose work reflects the ongoing impact of HIV/AIDS on our communities, celebrates the resilience of those affected, and addresses the challenges we continue to face in the fight against stigma and discrimination. Theme: Remember, Resist, Renew. We are seeking artwork that explores the multifaceted experiences of living with HIV/AIDS, the history and activism surrounding the epidemic, and the ongoing efforts toward prevention, treatment, and global awareness. We encourage submissions that challenge conventional narratives, shed light on untold stories, and foster a deeper understanding of the intersectionality within the HIV/AIDS experience. Guidelines: Medium: Open to all mediums, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, video, and performance art.
