The theme, WILD, invites artists to imagine and tackle that which can’t be tamed. In medium and subject, evoke the freedom found within the wild. Both realism and abstract art will be considered. Our gallery features contemporary art and the concept is considered in judging. Winners(1st-3rd) will split cash prizes ranging from $500-1,000. Depending how many submissions we receive. All artists residing in the USA are eligible to participate. This group show is located at Overt Space Gallery in Stoughton, WI. Artwork will also be available on our website. Artwork must be ready to hang and must not exceed 60” in either direction and must not stick out from the wall 6 inches. Artwork must be for sale. The commission split is 60% artist/40% gallery. All original works will be considered; All 2D artwork and 3D wall hangable artwork. Our gallery uses the STAS Hanging system and cannot be nailed to the wall. Overt Space is family-friendly and has people of all ages walk through the gallery. Please keep this in mind when submitting artwork. Submission fees are non-refundable. Up to 3 pieces may be submitted on each application, one image per piece. Images must be of the actual work to be exhibited. Artwork must be original (not copied from other art or made from a kit). Work must have been completed in the last three years. Piece(s) must not have been shown previously at Overt Space Gallery. All pieces must be for sale. All applicants must submit an artist statement.
