The Evanston Art Center (EAC) is currently seeking curatorial proposals for the 6th Annual Curatorial Fellowship for the 2025-2026 cycle. Please share with anyone who may be interested and/or a good candidate for this opportunity. For over ninety years, the EAC has served as an artistic hub on the North Shore, recognizing that many communities are often underrepresented in the curatorial landscape. In our commitment to inclusivity, we invite BIPOC curators with ties to communities in Evanston and the Chicago Metro area to apply for this fellowship. This project-based opportunity allows you to curate an exhibition of your choice, with EAC offering support throughout the entire process. Proposals will be evaluated by our Exhibition Committee, with top candidates invited for interviews. The selected finalist will receive formal approval from the Committee and the fellowship will be officially offered. The deadline to apply is December 15th at Midnight. All proposals must be sent to Emma Rose Gudewicz, Director of Development & Exhibitions, egudewicz@evanstonartcenter.org For more information, visit us online at the Prospectus link below.
