“Lions and Tigers and Tabbies! Oh Meow!” Local artists let their creative cat “out of the bag” in a diverse array of mediums for the purr-fectly paw-some MeWOW: Fabulous Felines exhibit at Del Ray Artisans gallery, 2704 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria, VA 22301. The exhibit runs February 7 – March, 1, 2025. Gallery hours are Thursday 12-6 pm, Friday 12-9 pm, Saturday 12-6 pm, and Sunday 12-6 pm (closed on February 2 and March 2). Come see the exhibit to marvel at the power and fascination of cat imagery in art. These furry, mysterious, independent, beautiful felines have inundated history, mythology, literature, advertising, cinema, pop culture and pet owners for centuries.
