Curated by James Horner, "Queer Dispositions" is an online-only exhibition hosted by Amos Eno Gallery on Artsy.net, from April 15 to May 15, 2025. This exhibition invites artists to explore the nuanced and multifaceted interpretations of what LGBTQI+ life means today. As queer people continue to face discrimination in their personal lives, employment, housing, and health care as well as the public sphere, their lives and experiences – joys and struggles – serve as a springboard for artistic exploration. Artists are encouraged to delve into themes such as gender identity, discrimination, body image, sexuality, desire, partnership/marriage, and landscapes important to the community. The exhibition aims to reveal the lives of LGBTQI+ folk today through their visual stories. FIRST DEADLINE for submissions: March 1, 2025. 1st Deadline - Fee to apply (by March 1): $25* (for up to 3 works). SECOND DEADLINE for submissions: March 25, 2025. 2nd Deadline - Fee to apply (by March 25): $35* (for up to 3 works).
